BERN – CEO Meinrad Flury announced that effective 1 January 2005, the new JOKER AG Foundation became a legal entity in Switzerland. The exciting news comes after several months of planning and discussion. The new foundation, which is in part comprised by the taking over the Walz Kinderhilfswerk Stiftung, begins its first year of activities by supporting the Urpi Wasi Child Day Care Center in Cusco, Peru.
Further planning will occur later this summer to expand the outreach of the JOKER Foundation, including the launch of an official website.
